Swim and Gym spells “win” for Phoenix Children’s Hospital

An Arizona Sunrays volunteer collects donations for Phoenix Children's Hospital.

The 2nd Annual Swim & Gym Festival to benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital takes place this Saturday, Sept. 25, from 3 to 7pm.

The event is co-hosted by Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics & Dance and Hubbard Family Swim School. Arizona Sunrays will host free dance, gymnastics and karate classes and Hubbard Family Swim School will host open swim time and water activities in its indoor pool.

Admission is free but donations to PCH are encouraged. The two companies hope to raise $10,000 for the hospital.

More than 75 vendors will have booths set up in the parking lot located between the two facilities. Featured activities include a bounce house, food, face painting, police and fire vehicles, live entertainment and celebrity guests including Miss Arizona.

Event parking is available at Arizona Sunrays (3110 E. Thunderbird Rd.), St. Mark’s Lutheran Church (3030 E. Thunderbird Rd.) and Paradise Valley Baptist Church (14034 N 32nd St.).
